Ablutions (wudhu) before shalat


Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu

(Salvation and mercy of God hopely remain in you all) ya my brother and sister..

Before shalat we must take ablution (wudhu)... so first,let's learn about it, before we learn about shalat...
It's step by step ablutions ;
1. Intention and Read Basmalah
If a Muslim will ablutions (wudhu), then let him intentions with his heart, then read:
بسم الله
Bismillah

"With the Name of God."
Based on the words of the Prophet alaihi wa sallam:
لا وضوء لمن لم يذكر اسم الله عليه
"Not (perfect) ablution (wudhu) someone who does not mention the name of Allah (read bísmíllaah)." (Narrated by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, and Ahmad Shakir)
 

2. wash palms
Sunnah then wash palms three times when starting ablution with interrupt the fingers.
 

3. gargle
Then rinse your mouth, gargle with water in the mouth, then remove it.
 

4. Istínsyaq and Istíntsar
Then ístínsyaq, namely sipped water into the nose with breath, then took it back. Smell the water from his right hand, then remove it by holding his nose with his left hand.
Sunnah to ístínsyaq with strong, except when fasting, because it was fear the water would go into the stomach.
Prophet alaihi wa sallam said:
وبالغ فى الاستنشاق إلا أن تكون صائما
"Indeed mean (do strongly) when ístínsyaq, except when you are fasting." (Narrated by Ahmad, Hakim, Bayhaqi, and Ibn Hajar).
 

5. Face wash
Then wash your face. The face restrictions are:
• The length starting from the beginning of the head where hair grows up to chin place to grow a beard.
• The width from the right ear to the left ear.
• existing hair on the face, and the skin underneath it should be washed, if the hair is thin.
As if the hair was thick, it shall be washed the surface part and sunnat for interrupt it (with the fingers).
 

6. Second Hand wash
Then wash hands, right hand and left hand up to fingertip, based on the word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:
وأيديكم إلى المرافق
"And (wash) your hands up to the fingertips." (Surah Al-Maidah: 6)

7. Head and ears rubbed
Then wiped your head and ears once. It's done from the front of the head, and then (second hand) rubbed until it gets to the back of the head (occiput), then back again rub hands until the front of the head.
Then rub the ears with water that left in the hands after head rubbed.
 

8. Wash both feet
Then wash both legs, until your ankles, based on the word of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala:
وأرجلكم إلى الكعبين
"And (wash) your feet up to the ankles ..." (Surah Al-Maidah: 6)
Ankles are prominent bone at the bottom of the calf.
• People whose hands or legs cut off, so he only required washing the remaining limbs, which still required to be washed.
• If the hand or foot completely severed, then he is only obliged to wash the tip.
 

9. Reading Prayer
After completion of ablution, then read (prayer):
أشهد أن لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له وأشهد أن محمدا عبده ورسوله, اللهم اجعلني من التوابين,
واجعلني من المتطهرين
"Asyhadualla ila ha illallah wahdahu lasyarikalahu wa asyhaduanna muhammdan ngabduhu warosulluhu, allahummaj ngalni minattawabina wajngalni minal mutatohirin"

"I testify that none has the right to worshiped except Allah, no partner to Him, and I believe that Muhammad is His servant and apostle. O Allah, make me among those who repent, and also make me among those who are self-cleaning.
 

10. ablutions must consecutive
That people who take ablution must consecutive step by step (orderly and continuously)
 

11. Drying  with the towels
You are allowed to dry the ablution (with a towel and others) after your ablution completed.
