Five pillars of Islam

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu

(Salvation and mercy of God hopely remain in you all) ya my brother and sister..

Five pillars of Islam :
Syahadat; Giving two sentences creed; accept that God is singular and the Prophet Muhammad was the messenger of God.
Accomplishing pray five times a day.
Giving zakat.
Fasting the month of Ramadan.
Accomplishing Hajj for those who can


1. Syahadat

First Pillars: Testifying that there is no god right to be worship except for Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.
Shahada (testimony) has the meaning that should be known as a Muslim and practiced. And who said that verbally but do not know what that means and do not practice it, there is no benefit at all to the creed.

The meaning of "La ilaha illallah'''

No one should ask for assisted or ask for protected except ask to God. Allah ta'ala says in the Qur'an Al-karim:
"People should not put their trust in Allah besides, should not hope except in God, and should not humility but to God alone"


The meaning "Muhammad Rasulullah"
Meaning of the Prophet Muhammad creed is to know and believe that Muhammad is the messenger of God to all people, he's an ordinary servant should not be worshiped, and the prophet that should not be denied. But must be obeyed and followed. You will also know and believe that the source of law-making is the same whether the symbols-symbols of worship which God commanded ritual and rule of law and Shari'a in all sectors as well as decisions regarding halal and haram. All of that should not be except through God's messenger who can deliver his Shari'a. Therefore, a Muslim should not accept a command that came not through Rasul SAW. Allah ta'ala says:



"What is the prophet given to you then accept it and what he forbids to you then leave it (Al-Hashr: 7)"


2. Salat

 

Praying five times a day that God commanded to be a means of interaction between God and a Muslim where he pray to Him. Also to be a means of prevention for a Muslim from vile and evil actions so he get peace of mind and body that can make her happy in this world and the hereafter 

 

"Surely it is the duty of prayer prescribed time over those who believe" (An Nisa: 103)

the praying five times are Salat Shubuh, Salat Dzuhur, Salat Ashar, Salat Maghrib, Salat Isya'

3. Fasting


Fasting means refraining from thirst and hunger and evil acts from sunrise to sunset.

There are several benefits in fasting. Among the most important:
1. Fasting is worship to God and execute His commands. The people will left their lust, eating and drinking.
2. The benefits of fasting on health angle, economic, social. No one can know except those who fasted with creed and faith
.

4. Zakat
 


Zakat means to give a portion of our wealth to those who deserve it, to cleanse or purify.
Among the benefits of give zakat is cheer the souls of the poor and cover their needs and strengthen the bond of love between them and the rich.

5. Hajj
 
Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam Mecca once in a lifetime. In Hajj there are infinite benefits:
1. First, the Hajj is a form of worship to Allah Ta'ala with the spirit, body and possessions.
2. Second, when the Hajj Muslims from all corners can come together and meet in one place. They wear the same clothes and worship to God one at a time. There is no difference between the leaders and the led, rich or poor, white or black. All the creatures and servants of God. So that the Muslims can berta'aruf (known each) and Ta'awun (helping each other). They remember the day God raised them all and collect them in one place to be held hisab (counting charity) so they made ​​preparations for the afterlife by doing obedience to Allah ta'ala.
